The Briar Rose - aka Megan, a twenty two year old aspiring novelist and 'sometimes' model studying Creative Writing. She is forever darting between the flat she shares with her husband in Bath, her parental home in Cornwall, and family base in London. She describes herself as a west country girl at heart! Her first love will always be writing, however over the years she has developed accompanying interests in fashion, photography, and baking. When she is not blogging, you can find her working on her novel manuscripts, whipping up treats in her dinky pastel-hued kitchen, and indulging her dorky tendencies under the perpetual encouragement of her wonderful husband. She is an avid fan of all things fantasy, hoarding vintage story books and holidaying to Disneyland Paris as often as she can justify. Her style is somewhat eclectic, bringing together romantic fabrics, retro shapes and quirky details. The Briar Rose started in the summer of 2010.
