So it seems your fingers have led you on a journey to uncover the age old question that conflicts us all: "Who is OUR PRINCE OF PEACE?"

To put it bluntly, Our Prince Of Peace (O.P.O.P.) is a kick ass line of threads that features bold cutting-edge styles for the cool girls in town. Designed by 26 year-old Cuban-American David Jon Acosta, the brand that was once concieved as a scarf line has quickly developed into a full range collection.

Each piece is targeted towards a customer who appreciates bold colour combos and isn't afraid to stand out in a crowd. "My customer is the girl in the room that you want to get to know better. She loves the beach, listens to classic rock, and puts flowers in her hair," says Acosta.

Along with his hometown of Miami Beach, David Jon pulls inspiration from the bohemian flair of the 1970's, Native American culture, world religions, and from the women he encounters on a daily basis.

Naturally, the line is entirely manufactured and produced in Miami Beach. "Manufacturing the line locally is beneficial for the community, and to be honest I'm a bit of a control freak. I like to be involved every step of the way. I guess it's a win-win situation," laughs the designer.

When asked the reasoning behind the name, Acosta is quick to explain, "in the bible, Jesus is referred to as the Prince of Peace. And, while I'm far from Christ-like, fashion has always been my savior. O.P.O.P. is dedicated to all of those whose bible is more like a glossy written by the likes of Anna Wintour. Those who consider style as an honest means of expression. This is for them."
