Kenneth Jay Lane's jewellery has been adhorned by the world's most glamourous women for oveer four decades such as Jackie Onasis, Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Vreeland and Audrey Hepburn. Michigan-born Lane graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1954 and moved to New York to become Voque's art director.
