Jessica learned the ancient mariner's art of scrimshaw from her acclaimed furniture-designer father and then funkified it into her coveted line of cheekily-phrased bracelets. These resin pieces are crafted with the same techniques as her scrimshaw bracelets –- hand carved, hand-inked, no two exactly alike. Each piece is limited edition, so when they’re gone they’re gone.
As the daughter of renowned furniture designer Vladimir Kagan and needlework queen Erica Wilson design runs in her veins, so it seems only natural that Jessica Kagan Cushman's work is totally unique and fresh.
