Good Life by rex was established by Rex Tegelaar in 2008 with the intention of creating cool T-shirts with the feel and fit of vintage tees that he had from his days of growing up in Orange County California.
After working six years in the modeling and fashion industry in London and seven in the Marketing Department at Sony Pictures creating promotional merchandise for films, Rex decided to venture out on his own.
Drawing inspiration from his collection of over 200 vintage surf tees production began. The T-shirts are cut and sewn exclusively for the Good Life by rex line, which has now grown to include a full range beach lifestyle inspired clothing from the good old days of California and Hawaii surf culture. Where has spent many of his years absorbing the life of both cultures.
Good Life by rex designs can be seen on stars such as Tyra Banks, Jack Black, Zac Efron, Brody Jenner, Drew Barrymore, celebrity fitness trainer Bob Harper and pop stars Enrique Iglesias and Kelly Clarkson. TV shows such as Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Nurse Jackie, Outsourced, and Dancing with the Stars all have used Good Life by rex clothing as wardrobe.
