Una Healy (born 10 October 1981 in Thurles, County Tipperary, Republic of Ireland) is an Irish singer/songwriter and guitarist, best known for being one fifth of the girl band, The Saturdays. Una is the only non-British member of The Saturdays.
Una Healy was musical from an early age. She began playing the guitar aged 13 and soon developed her passion for music. She went on to front a local rock band in her teens.
In 2004 and 2006 she won Ireland's Glinsk Song Contest. In 2006 she produced her own track called 'Sorry'. In the same year she also sang the backing vocals for Ireland's Eurovision Song Contest entry.
Una is perhaps best known for being one fifth of girl band The Saturdays, whose hits include 'Up', 'Just Can't Get Enough' and 'Issues'. As part of the Saturdays she has toured with Girls Aloud, The Jonas Brothers and Take That. The girls have also appeared in Hollyoaks and Myths.
Una won Hottest Female 2008 at the Virgin Media Music Awards and is known for her sexy, rocky look and gorgeous Saturdays outfits. Una is a regular to our celebrity files.
